The new LG Optimus 2X is a large 4-inch display powerful mobile phone running the Android OS . It is the world’s first Dual-core processor smartphone . It sports a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor running at 1GHz .It can play full HD (1080p) TV-out via HDMI and video recording with a 8 mega-pixel main camera and a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front for video calling.

The smartphone also includes both rear- and front-facing cameras for video calling , microSD memory expandability, and 1500mAh battery.
The LG Optimus 2X is initially be released with Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS . It will be upgradeable to the upcoming Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS.
